Pickleball Exercise For Injury Prevention

This program will be held each Thursday from Jan 4th to Jan 25th 9-10am. Participants will learn a progressive exercise program to condition muscles, joints and tendons, prevent injuries and improve performance. Learn how to prevent and heal injuries to the shoulders, back, neck, hips, knees, ankles and feet. This workshop is for you if you love Pickleball but suffer from any of the following: arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis, ankle sprains, IT band syndrome, plantar fasciitis, degenerative disk disease, etc

Cost is $40 for the series. Attending the entire series is encouraged but please speak to me if you have a schedule conflict.

Blood-flow restriction training can help patients to make greater strength training gains while lifting lighter loads, thereby reducing the overall stress placed on the limb.

By applying the right amount of external pressure to an extremity, it's possible to maintain arterial inflow while occluding venous outflow distal to the occlusion site.

The aim of BFR training is to mimic the effects of high intensity exercise by recreating a hypoxic environment using a cuff. The cuff is placed proximally to the muscle being exercise and low intensity exercises can then be performed.
